Growing up I always showed interest in the cosmetology field. At a young age I knew I was going to be a hairstylist. I would always practice doing hair on my dolls. One Christmas, I asked for a mannequin head, so she could start practicing more and more. From there I started practicing on my sister and cousins. Once I entered high school, I started doing weaves. I began to have a real passion for hair but not knowing where this would take me, I decided to enroll into college. While attending college I realized it wasn’t the path for me. After discussing this with my mom; my mom encouraged me to go cosmetology school to further my skills in hair. I was frightened about this new journey but I stuck with it and graduated from Empire Beauty School in November 2014.

 

During my time in beauty school, I learned I had a real passion for hair. The joy I had making women feel beautiful and seeing the excitement on my client’s faces after I finished was truly irreplaceable. Hair became an outlet for me. It allowed me to concentrate on my creative energy whenever life’s challenges came. I found my true passion in life and knew at that moment I was born to be in the beauty industry. 

 

When it comes to areas of expertise, I am a jack of all trades and have a variety of skills. From natural hair to weaves, I can do it all. Majority of her clientele are natural weaves, frontals, closure, and wig units.  I also make custom wig units. I pride myself on having healthy natural hair under weaves and wig units. I love the idea of throwing on a wig, being able to shampoo, condition, and securing your natural hair with a few braids, and protecting your hair from damage, while you slay my wig units. This is a more versatile and ideal option compared to traditional weave. I am a very honest stylist and most importantly I care about the overall health of your hair. I will always offer variety of options to help you achieve your hair goals and putting your hair health first!
